The Bad: Trying to build a homemade ant farm.
The Ugly: An ant farm in your backyard.

Many last-gen games have been or are in the process of being ported to the Wii as launch titles, and the recently released Ant Bully is no exception. As expected, there will be a visual boost over the last-gen versions with the Wii’s higher specs.

However, the big difference, setting this version apart is the use of the Wiimote as the boy’s weapon, while navigating the world with the Nunchuk. How intuitive this will feel is yet to be seen, but things look good.

The concept itself is fairly original. In Ant Bully, you play Lucas, a boy, who until being shrunk to ant-size himself was a keen ant tormenter. Now, he must adapt to ant life and make his way in a colony. To aid him in this, Lucas will have a nice array of weaponry at his disposal with a lava-silk gun, seed bombs, dart bow and staff.

You’ll be waving the Wiimote around like Lucas’ weapons, while guiding him through 18 missions with huge bosses and team battles. Unlock new abilities such as sticking to walls, raising your strength, and telepathy for ordering coworkers to perform tasks.
