Hitman developer IO Interactive announced that a Game of the Year Edition is on the way. Packed with all the released content, it also includes four new campaign missions, and more.
Here’s what’s in the latest edition, via IO’s official site:
The Patient Zero campaign will guide players through pre-existing levels, but with new goals. Here’s the rundown:
After the routine elimination of a target, a contingency plan to unleash a global pandemic is triggered and Agent 47 must race against the clock to prevent a virus from spreading. This four-mission campaign spans different locations in the game, each one re-worked from the original settings with new gameplay opportunities, disguises, characters, challenges, gameplay mechanics, AI behaviour and HUD elements. Bangkok, Sapienza, Colorado and Hokkaido look and feel completely different with a new time of day and new custom music created by the composer for Season One, Niels Bye Nielsen.
Elusive Targets – one-time only assassination attempts – are also being re-activated, but with some stipulations. If you missed any targets, or are new to the game, you can try your hand at them. If you attempted any of them in the past – or failed – you’ll still be locked out of these ones.
If you’re an existing player, you can buy the ‘GOTY Upgrade’ digitally for $20USD.
Hitman: Game of the Year Edition releases November 7 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
