Doom on Switch Release Date and Developer Interview

iD Software and Ninendo have announced that DOOM on Nintendo Switch is launching in the United States on November 10, 2017. Alongside this news, Nintendo have released an interview with iD Software developers Hugo Martin (Creative Director), and Marty Stratton (Executive Producer), where they both introduce the franchise to the Switch audience, and talk about what people can expect from the port.

From the interview, Nintendo Switch owners can expect the following:

  • The entire campaign with all difficulty modes, including the Ultra Nightmare mode, where you only have one life.
  • Arcade Mode, allowing players to play the entire game with all of the upgraded weapons and ruins, but in a time and score attack mode.
  • All of the DLC, which includes 18 maps, and 12 multiplayer modes.
  • and a stable 30 fps.

DOOM releases to Nintendo Switch on November 10, 2017.

I'm so down for this.

Doom has been on my backlog forever, I will jam the hell out of it on my train ride.

Played it twice on PS4, will happily play again on Switch.
