Star Ocean: The Last Hope 4K Remaster Announced

A 4K remaster for Star Ocean: The Last Hope has been announced. The game has only been confirmed for Japan, and is slated to arrive on PlayStation 4 and PC on November 28.

As the full title implies – Star Ocean: The Last Hope 4K & Full HD Remaster – the game will feature updated visuals and textures. Players will also be able to tweak select graphical settings on both versions.

Here’s the list of features, via Gematsu:

PlayStation 4 Version

  • Resolution: From 720p on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 –> PlayStation 4 Pro: Maximum 4K / PlayStation 4: Full HD
  • Functionality to change image settings (shadow and blur settings, etc.)
  • Trophy support
  • Share button support

PC Version

  • Functionality to change screen resolution
  • Functionality to change image settings (shadow and blur settings, etc.)
  • Steam Achievements support
  • Mouse, keyboard, and PC controller support
  • Functionality to take screenshots without the UI

OMFG OCD to get and support Star Ocean kicks in. I had to skip Integrity because it was obviously just trash -- a new franchise low. But this game was actually good.

Please make it easy for me and announce it WILL NOT release in NZ, thanks.

Dammit! And I haven't even finished it on PS3~ It's a great game but with massive amounts of content :P If only my save data would transfer over
