Developer Digital Extremes is continuing to support their free-to-play action game Warframe, this time with a hefty update. The long in development Plains of Eidolon content patch will arrive next week on PC, introducing the game’s first open-world environment, and more.
According to Eurogamer, the new zone will also feature a social hub. Players can interact with each other, and collect missions from NPCs.
From the developer:
Tenno can entertain themselves with mini-games such as spearfishing and mining to gather resources, or engage in heroic land and air battles - using the reworked Sky Archwing - against an ever-belligerent Grineer presence.
Plains of Eidolon will arrive for PC players next week. PS4 and Xbox One owners will have to wait until November.
