Bungie and Activision have released a new trailer for Destiny 2, this time showing off some of the game’s campaign. You’ll see the new villain Dominus Ghaul, interactions between pivotal characters, and a brief look at the fate of The Speaker.

From the press release:

Humanity has fallen. Villainous Dominus Ghaul has arrived on Earth with his Red Legion army to lay claim to the power he believes he alone is worthy to wield. Rally with the remaining survivors and rise up to defeat Ghaul before all is lost.

Destiny 2 launches September 6 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The game will then be made available on PC via Battle.net, on October 24.

I got this free for PC so hopefully its great. I never really tried the first one though. I don't think there is much story to catch up on, but I should look into that.

So I'm interested in where the story goes but hopefully it has more of an end game this time. Grinding the same old raid or suffering through the crucible gets very stale.

Looking forward to the story, looks like they have put alot of effort into it after the absence of one in Destiny 1.
Still not overly confident they can produce a great story looking all the way back through their Halo series, they have shown they are great world builders and shooter game makers yes, but story not so much.

This is looking quite good but I might wait to see how others rate the game rather than per-ordering this time.
