JRPG fans rejoice; Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age is headed west sometime in 2018, Square Enix confirmed.

The highly anticipated latest entry to the beloved DRAGON QUEST series follows the adventure of a hero who must solve the mystery of his fate with the aid of a charming cast of supporting characters. DRAGON QUEST XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age will offer a world of adventure, exploration and instances of heroism— all brought to life by character art of famed manga artist Akira Toriyama and the memorable music of composer Koichi Sugiyama.
No platforms have been specified for the western launch. The game released in Japan on July 29 for PlayStation 4 and 3DS. A Nintendo Switch version has also been confirmed, but no release date has been announced.
Series creator Yuji Horii confirmed in the above video that localisation is already underway.
According to the press release, more information about the western release can be expected this spring.
