Street Fighter EX Dev Brings Skullomania Back for Latest Game

Runtime: 1:50    Author: arikaex    Category: Trailers

Skullomania will be making his way to Arika’s new unnamed fighting game. The salaryman-turned-superhero’s last appearance was in 1996’s Street Fighter EX. You can check him out in the trailer above.

Arika made the announcement today during EVO 2017. The game also features multiple other Street Fighter EX characters, which the developer maintained the rights to after their partnership with Capcom ended.

Street Fighter EX launched in 1996, and was the first game in the series to feature 3D graphics. It was a spin-off title, and featured eighteen original characters.

The still untitled game will see a global release in 2018 for PlayStation 4, with a playable beta scheduled later this year.

I thought the games name was Fighting Layer EX? Or was that a different Arika game altogether?

I think that's the working-title, so it isn't 100% locked in

I was a little more excited for Darun, my favourite Zangief clone. Still a few characters they can add, C Jack, Allen, Pullum and D Dark.
