Diablo 3’s Necromancer Class Is Available Now

Runtime: 3:35    Author: diablo    Category: Trailers

Developer Blizzard has updated Diablo III to version 2.6.0. Besides some new zones, challenges, and bounties, players can also purchase the Necromancer class.

The Necromancer can be purchased on PC for $14.99 USD, or from the PlayStation or Xbox digital storefronts for $22.95 NZD. If the class doesn’t interest you, then the content of patch 2.6.0 is still available, free of charge.

Here’s what it introduces:

  • Challenge Rifts - Static dungeons, with set characters and gear
  • New Zones - The Moors, and Temple of the Firstborn
  • New Realms of Fate Bounties - Located at new waypoints on the map

Quality of life changes have also been made. As Gamespot points out, when you die playing in a Greater Rift solo, you can resurrect immediately; remaining seconds on the death timer will automatically be deducted.

Damn $22.95 for just a new character class, Almost what I paid for the entire game lol
Don't think I'm that keen to pay that just to play through the same material I've played to death.

Seems a lot looking at what you get, but considering there hasn't been any paid content in 3 years for a game that gets ongoing support and constant updates - there could be worse people to give your money to :P
