The British developer has provided a new look at Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice.
While the trailer itself uses in-engine footage, there's no gameplay to be seen per se - rather it describes the psyche of main character Senua, with very existential commentary.
As per the PlayStation Store's description:
"Created in collaboration with neuroscientists and people who experience psychosis, Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice will pull you deep into the melancholic fury of Senua’s shattered mind."
Ninja Theory are marketing the game as 'mid-size' and are hence only charging half the usual price - $48.95 on PSN and $35.99 on Steam.
Known for their action games, the developer also made Heavenly Sword, Enslaved: Odyssey to the West, and DmC: Devil May Cry. Hellblade will be there first new project on current-gen consoles.
Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice will release for PS4 and PC on August 8.
