During the Xbox E3 2017 Briefing we were presented with a new 4k trailer for State of Decay 2. The sequel to Undead Labs 2013 zombie survival horror will be releasing in early 2018 on the Xbox One family of consoles, and Windows 10 as part of the Xbox Play Anywhere program.
It's been almost two years since the zombie apocalypse began, and the military have just abandoned the refugee camp you call home - how will you survive? That is the general premise for State of Decay 2, a title where it will be up to you to "build your base, develop your characters, and manage resources to survive as a group in this post-apocalyptic zombie world."
Your choices define your survival story.
In the zombie apocalypse, you must create your own moral code. Every decision has lasting consequences that you must face. How you decide to survive may surprise you.
While the game can be played solo, it will also support up to four-player co-op multiplayer, allowing you and three friends to explore the open world that's filled with "dynamic zombies, human enemies and the valuable gear necessary to keep your community alive."
State of Decay 2 will release in early 2018 to Xbox One and Windows 10, and is part of the Xbox Play Anywhere program.
