Gameplay footage of Far Cry 5 emerged during Ubisoft's E3 conference, showcasing numerous features you'll use to fight the fanatical cult in the outbacks of Montana.
Though a more traditional trailer was also shown, Ubisoft took the audience through a demo to show what players can expect when the game arrives.
Players will have teammates who assist them in combat, whom they can also issue commands to. The demo saw a sniper being directed to a vantage point and opened fired upon command. It also appears you'll have use of a canine friend and air support.
As the official website states:
"The fate of Hope County is in your hands. Take on the cult solo or team up with a fellow resister in co-op mode and wreak havoc upon Joseph Seed and his band of cult followers. In the biggest Far Cry release ever, you'll have everything at your disposal – from hired guns to hired fangs and the baddest arsenal this side of the Mississippi."
Far Cry 5 will release for PS4, Xbox One and PC on February 27, 2018.
