Dragon Ball FighterZ Reveal Trailer

Runtime: 1:29    Author: Xbox    Category: Trailers

Announced earlier today on the Xbox E3 2017 Briefing stage, Dragon Ball FighterZ is a new 2D fighting game set in the world of the famous franchise, set to release in early 2018.

Coming from Arc System Works, the developers behind Persona 4 Arena and the Guilty Gear franchises, Dragon Ball FighterZ looks to allow players to experience stunning aerial combos, destructible stages, and famous scenes from the Dragon Ball anime. The game also looks to provide 3 vs 3 Tag/Support gameplay, as well as allowing players to train and master more than one fighter or style, which the developers hope will bring with it deeper gameplay.

After the success of the Xenoverse series, it’s time to introduce a new classic 2D DRAGON BALL fighting game for this generation’s consoles. DRAGON BALL FighterZ is born from what makes the DRAGON BALL series so loved and famous: endless spectacular fights with its allpowerful fighters. Partnering with Arc System Works, DRAGON BALL FighterZ maximizes high end Anime graphics and brings easy to learn but difficult to master fighting gameplay to audiences worldwide.

Another notable aspect of the title is that it will support a 60FPS/1080p resolution on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4, along with higher resolution on the PlayStation 4 Pro, and newly announced Xbox One X.

Dragon Ball FighterZ is releasing in Early 2018 on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.

Enjoy! This game is going to be full hype.
Do your homework with the game mechanics if you need, helps a little bit with the long term enjoyment.

And remember, if you ever Accidentally go online and see a random player your rank, you may be completely outplayed and outmatched but don't give up! It is a very competitive fighting game and people will spend thousands of hours :D

I guarantee the story mode will be the greatest a DBZ game has ever gotten.

Well that's why I had the last sentence where it was, never gave an imperative, and put emphasis on fun.

Sweet. Will be hard to go back to the original story after the masterpiece that was Xenoverse 2 but DBZ is still my favourite anime.

Gameplay looks like MvC style insanity, which is a great thing! Loving the art style too! It's like they took their Guilty Gear Xrd style and adapted it for DBZ... hype!!!

I just want to know, do people break rocks when you throw them through rocks? it did on the old console version, i find it really stupid that it didn't happen in xenoverse 1
