It's no surprise to anyone at this point, but the next game in the Assassin's Creed franchise has been officially unveiled during Microsoft's E3 conference.
Announced alongside a debut trailer, the video confirms what we've been told over the past weeks; the game will serve as an origin story for the assassins during Ancient Egypt.
The game appears to utilise a different combat system than previous games, while also giving players access to an eagle for scouting purposes. There's also a large snake.
We still don't know much about the main character, but his name is indeed Ba-Yek, who has initially leaked via a t-shirt.
Assassin's Creed Origins will release this year, October 27 for PS4 and Xbox One.
