Nintendo announced today that Pokemon Ultra Sun and Pokemon Ultra Moon will be coming to 3DS. The updated versions of last year’s pair of games – Sun and Moon – will be available on November 17.

Players will return to the Alola region, but will have access to new monsters not seen in the original release. There also appear to be new forms of the legendary Pokemon Solgaleo and Lunala.

Director Junichi Masuda promised more information to come later this year.

As part of today’s reveal, it was also announced that Pokken Tournament would be coming to the Switch. Pokken Tournament DX will release on Nintendo’s hybrid platform on September 22. Classics Pokemon Gold and Silver will also be coming to Virtual Console on the same date, with added functionality like local wireless connectivity.

Not a bad thing if they do it like white and black 2 where there is a whole other storyline with it. Keen for gold/silver though.

Slightly disappointed at the double dip for Pokken Tournament as I bought it for Wii U already and it's not had as much support as it should have.... and yet I feel like a hypocrite given I'm hyped for Ultra Sun and Moon lol...

No stars for switch is a shame, I was keen to give it a go. No 3DS and no interest in the other fighting game. Miss
