Publisher EA revealed Need for Speed Payback over the weekend – a new entry in the long-standing racer franchise.
In development by Ghost Games, EA plans to release the game on November 10 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. According to Polygon, the game will offer an “action driving fantasy” in a story told from multiple perspectives.
Players will get to control three different characters – Tyler, the Racer; Mac, the Showman; and Jess, the Wheelman. They’ll team up to get revenge on a cartel known as The House. EA added that players can expect “intense heist missions, high stakes car battles, epic cop pursuits and jaw dropping set pieces.”
As is the case for EA titles, the game will be available to try a few days prior to launch for EA Access and Origin Access subscribers. Picking up the Deluxe Edition will also grant early access, starting on November 7.
