Runtime: 4:34    Author: Xbox    Category: Trailers

Microsoft announced today that they are rebranding their streaming platform Beam. The company is now calling it Mixer, and have introduced some new features as part of the announcement.

From the press release:

More than just the name, we’re launching several of the features that fans have been asking for, including co-streaming, a beta for the Mixer Create mobile streaming app, a new moderated channel of content on Mixer called ‘Channel One’ and a new Mixer page on the Xbox One dashboard.

Beam’s main drawcards – its low latency, and audience interactivity features – are being maintained with Mixer.
