Middle-earth: Shadow of War Gets Extended Gameplay Walkthrough

Runtime: 16:09    Author: WBGamesUK    Category: Trailers

Publisher Warner Bros. have released a new video, giving an extended look at Middle-earth: Shadow of War’s gameplay. Namely, it shows off how players will interact with the modified Nemesis system to take down a stronghold.

This Gameplay Walkthrough introduces viewers to the next generation of the innovative Nemesis System with the addition of Nemesis Fortresses, where players must utilise different strategies to conquer dynamic strongholds and forge their personalised Orc army.

In this video, Talion and Celebrimbor, who return as the Bright Lord, must lead a fortress assault on the mountain valley of Seregost and take it from one of Sauron's Overlords. To succeed, they will use the power of the New Ring to recruit Followers during enemy encounters—a new mechanic allowing gamers to establish entirely new stories of loyalty, betrayal and revenge.

Middle-earth: Shadow of War is set to hit PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on August 22.

Really need to pick up the original. Or can I skip it and play the better sequel?

The original is still really good! But you're not missing much in terms of story.

First was quite good, but never finished it myself. Personally started to find it a bit repetitive but that's likely because I went full collector and tried to find all the collectables on the map :P

Have to say that I was sooo disappointed to hear that my brother was buying this as his next pre-order for us to play (we console share)... Not.

Got my fingers crossed it's as good if not better than the first.
