Destiny’s Final Update Teases Vault of Glass’ Return

Runtime: 0:38    Author: Bungie    Category: Trailers

Bungie have released a new trailer for Destiny’s final update, Age of Triumph. While short, it does detail what players can possibly expect, including a new record book. By completing specific Year 3 tasks, you’ll be able to gain special items.

In addition, the first raid – Vault of Glass – features momentarily. Whether this means we’ll see the PvE, story-driven dungeon in any capacity remains to be seen. A livestream dedicated to the update is slated for Thursday, 9 March at 7AM NZT. Lead designer Ryan Paradis and senior designer Joe Blackburn will be on board to talk about Age of Triumph.

It was revealed over the weekend that player progress in Destiny 2 won’t carry over from the first game – meaning you’ll have to leave your hard-earned armour, weapons, and exotics at the door.

I suppose it is a bit late for me to get Destiny: The Collection and have people to play with at my level (Stopped at the end of the packaged DLC/ before Taken King)

I agree! Stopped playing after the Taken King. It was so barf to get anywhere without having friends to do raids and the like with. Random's just couldn't be relied on. It'll take more than an old raid to draw me back now. Maybe Destiny 2 will be a fresh idea...

It will be tough but with a lot of LFG you might be OK. I'd personally wait for Destiny 2.

Just beg birdman above to carry you through the raids. I had to carry him for years, about time he returned the favour to others #payitforward :P
