Cities: Skylines Is Headed to Xbox One

Runtime: 1:07    Author: Paradoxplaza    Category: Trailers

Cities: Skylines – the metropolitan management simulator for PC – is headed to Xbox One in autumn, the publisher announced. The console version will include the base game, and the After Dark expansion focusing on nightlife and tourism.

“Paradox is a company that’s proud to publish and support ‘niche’ games, and we’re happy to be able to bring those specialized experiences to console as well.” said Fredrik Wester, CEO of Paradox Interactive. “Cities: Skylines has built one of the biggest and most active communities we’ve seen among Paradox’s fans, and that’s saying a lot. We can’t wait to welcome Xbox One players into that group, and I’m eager to see the towns and cities they can build.”

The video above gives a brief look at how the game’s mouse-and-keyboard movement will map over to controllers. The UI also looks to be getting an overhaul, making it more suited for TV-play.

Great game, so good to see it expanding.

Hopefully I can figure out the rubbish dump to space ratio so I can stop destroying cities with filth by then.

The trailer seems pretty clear about that.

Ill do the same, I'll base my designs of Aucklands roads and see how the public feel about them xD, Interested in picking the game up, I have it on Steam but never got the chance of playing it, one of those impulse steam special sale buys, but if its on my main console, I'll play it more.

I'll make it like Christchurch roads keep digging them up and then take 6 months to sort it out. That will make it like reality.

I think that is for all of New Zealand's Roads.
