[UPDATE] The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Gets Season Pass

In a first for a mainline entry in the series, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will be getting a season pass. Available on March 3 for $33.00 NZD, the pass will grant Wii U and Switch owners access to two packs of content – one in winter, and another at the end of the year.

Here are the details of each pack, from IGN:

Pack 1 - Winter 2017

  • A new Cave of Trials challenge
  • Hard mode
  • "A new feature for the in-game map"

Pack 2 - Holiday 2017

  • A new dungeon
  • A new "original story"
  • Additional challenges

Picking up the season pass also unlock three additional treasure chests at the game’s Great Plateau location. The first two will contain items to make your quest easier, while the third will have a Switch-branded shirt that Link can sport.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is set to launch on March 3 for Switch and Wii U.

You bastards, ironically DLC for a game that follow basically the same story time and time again. I will buy all of it immediately.
