Voodoo Vince – a 2003 Xbox puzzle-platformer – is being remastered for Xbox One and PC, the developer announced today. The game is slated for an early 2017 launch.
The original game had players control Vince, as he made his way through a cartoony New Orleans and solved puzzles. The remaster will feature 1080p resolution, higher resoltuon textures, and a silky-smooth 60 frames per second. As Polygon reports, it will also feature “select soundtrack updates” and remixes from the original composer, Steve Kirk.
The game will be published on Xbox One as part of Microsoft’s ID@Xbox program – with boss Phil Spencer being a strong proponent of the project. It’s currently available to be voted on via Steam Greenlight, but it will be hitting the Windows 10 store too.
