Video Preview: Dishonored 2

Runtime: 21:41    Author: nzgamerdotcom    Category: Game Footage

We managed to get some hands-on time with a preview build of Dishonored 2 at a press event in Sydney earlier this week, courtesy of publisher Bethesda.

In the above video, you'll get a look at some Emily Kaldwin gameplay, as she infiltrates the clockwork mansion of the deranged inventor Kirin Jindosh. The core of Emily's gameplay remains true to that of Corvo's from the first game, but she has a range of powers that make stealth options a little more viable. One of these is is Shadow Walk, which transforms the Princess-turned-assassin into a smoke-creature.

To supplement that she also has the offensive Domino power, allowing her to link multiple targets together. Taking down one of them makes the others share that target's fate -- be it knock-outs, or kills.

Dishonored 2 is set to release on November 11 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

I can't see myself playing a High Chaos Emily, but damn that looks great. Can barely wait for November.

I actually did about 4 or so playthroughs, one of them non-lethal. I decided to upload this one because it's a little more kinetic to watch.

Also, I didn't Jindosh's unique kill, because I know some people would probably see that as a bit of a spoiler.

Fair point, non-lethal isn't really a spectator sport :P
