As part of Sony’s announcement of the PlayStation 4 Pro – their new, more powerful hardware variant over the standard PS4 – BioWare and EA showcased some new footage for Mass Effect: Andromeda. You’ll get some snippets of gameplay, as well as some story content, all running on a PS4 Pro, in 4K visuals.

“What you’re seeing here is a very small slice of the game in development,” said Aaron Flynn, BioWare’s general manager. “Everything here is in-game, captured directly from a PlayStation Neo [sic] during pre-alpha. We selected this segment specifically to showcase some of the ways that Neo will bring our environments and characters to life like never before.”

A new trailer for the game is expected to drop on November 7/8. Mass Effect: Andromeda is set to hit PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC early 2017.
