Bethesda released a new gameplay trailer for Prey over the weekend during Gamescom. Originally showcased at Quakecon behind closed doors, the trailer gives a brief glimpse at the types of foes you’ll be facing, and how you’ll navigate the environment.
One of the weapons in action is the Gloo Cannon, which can be used to freeze enemies. From there, we see a triggered explosive being used to wipe out enemies in a targeted area.
Interestingly enough, the main character seems to possess the ability to take over and control inanimate objects. To get to a computer terminal in a security booth, the character assumes the form of a coffee mug and rolls into the room.
Prey is set to release next year for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
