During the Sonic 25th Anniversary party at San Diego over the weekend, Sega announced another new game for their blue blur, in addition to the retro-throwback Sonic Mania.
Simply titled Project Sonic 2017, the mainline game made by Sonic Team looks to be similar to 2011’s Sonic Generations. It stars two versions of the iconic character: modern, and classic.
Project Sonic is set for a late 2017 release window on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo NX. Sega hasn’t revealed any more information about the game.
