Doom Single-player Trailer

With the release of Doom right around the corner, publisher Bethesda has shared a new trailer which showcases some of the game’s single-player experience.

While it doesn’t divulge much at all in terms of narrative, it highlights some of the areas players will visit, the enemies they’ll encounter, and characters they’ll interact with.

Bethesda also shared some of the game’s launch details. While Xbox One users can pre-load their digital purchases right now, PC and PlayStation 4 owners will have to wait until May 11 before they can start downloading.

Here are the recommended hardware specs, If you’ve got a PC that’s up to the task:

Minimum:

  • Windows 7/8.1/10 (64-bit versions); Intel Core i5-2400/AMD FX-8320 or better;
  • 8 GB RAM; 55 GB free HDD space; Nvidia GTX 670 2GB/AMD Radeon HD 7870 2GB or better
  • Contains a single disc. Download of additional files from Steam (total amount 45 GB) is required to run the game.
  • Requires Steam activation and broadband internet connection for Multiplayer and SnapMap.

Recommended:

  • Windows 7/8.1/10 (64-bit versions); Intel Core i7-3770/AMD FX-8350 or better;
  • 8 GB RAM; 55 GB free HDD space; Nvidia GTX 970 4GB/AMD Radeon R9 290 4GB or better
  • Contains a single disc. Download of additional files from Steam (total amount 45 GB) is required to run the game.
  • Requires Steam activation and broadband internet connection for Multiplayer and SnapMap.

Doom is set to release on May 13 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

Im excited because i never played doom, but in general. most of the pc people are angry their was was consolised,but it seems the console people are happy with it, or just complaining about call of duty.

Well the Friday 13th release date was irrelevant as it's taking 8 hours to download the blasted thing. Ah well, that's what weekends are for.
