At PlayStation Experience, Capcom unveiled the 16th and final character for Street Fighter V's launch in February next year, as well debuting the game's opening cinematic following the conclusion of Capcom Cup, which you can watch above.
Newcomer F.A.N.G, an assassin and self-proclaimed second-in-command at Shadaloo, rounds out Street Fighter V's roster. He makes use of "sinister long range attacks and slippery movements", and some of his attacks can poison his opponent, continuously draining their health bar until F.A.N.G gets hit or the poison runs its course.
F.A.N.G's V-Skill, Nishodoku, sends out a slow-moving, poisonous projectile, while his V-Trigger, Dokunomu, surrounds him in a poisonous cloud that continuously damages the opponent as long as they're near him.
Additionally, Capcom outlined plans for DLC support for the game, including a Season Pass and pricing structures for microtransactions.
The Season Pass costs USD 29.99 / EUR 29.99 / GBP 24.99 (local pricing to be confirmed), and covers six additional characters, each with a premium costume: Alex, Guile, Balrog, Ibuki, Juri, and Urien. The Season Pass is also included in the Deluxe Edition of the game, which is up for preorder now on PlayStation 4 at NZD 149.95, or on Steam at NZD 131.95
Alternatively, these characters, along with other DLC like costumes, can be bought individually, using either Fight Money (earned through playing the game) or Zenny (bought using real money). Zenny bundles will be available at a variety of price points, including the following (local pricing to be confirmed):
Characters will cost 600 Zenny apiece, and premium costumes will be 400 Zenny each.
Street Fighter V comes out on February 16 for PlayStation 4 and PC.
