During Ubisoft's 2015 E3 Press Conference, the company's CEO Yves Guillemot announced Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands, a new open world game in the long running franchise that is currently in development at Ubisoft Paris.
The trailer presents a number of solutions to the problem of eliminating a prominent member of the Santa Blanca drug cartel by the name of White Hat. The first option sees the game's team of four operatives parachuting into the site and eliminating White Hat and his men from afar, thus removing a drugs from the supply chain. A second option shows the same operatives stealthily infiltrating White Hat's compound and removing both the man and his drugs, as well as destroying their warehouse. The final option presents the ambush approach, with the four operatives striking swiftly to catch White Hat and his men off guard.
This first gameplay trailer presents the freedom players have in selecting the best course of action. A large tattooed man is shown torturing White Hat after the operatives let him live, as evidence of the brutality of Santa Blanca and their hold on a near-future Bolivia.
The trailer also shows off some other locations in the game, which include lush vegetation, rivers, mountainous areas and salt flats.
While a release date was not revealed, the gameplay presented was from a pre-alpha build. Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands will be available on PC, Playstation 4 and Xbox One.
