Warner Bros. Interactive have revealed the Kombat Pack for Mortal Kombat X, a downloadable content pass covering four characters - including Jason Voorhees, the iconic villain from the Friday the 13th film franchise.
As well as Jason, the Kombat Pack includes two classic Mortal Kombat characters, as well as another guest character, all of which are currently in development. The Kombat Pack is included in the Mortal Kombat X Premium Edition, and will also be available for separate purchase for £24.99 / $29.99 USD (local pricing to be confirmed).
The pack also comes with the Samurai Pack, which is available at launch and includes three new character skins: Ronin Kenshi, Samurai Shinnok and Jingu Kitana, as well as an accompanying skin pack with each playable character. These packs will also be available for individual sale at a later date.
Meanwhile, the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of Mortal Kombat X have been delayed. "Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment today confirmed that the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of Mortal Kombat X being developed by High Voltage Software will release this summer [winter in the Southern Hemisphere],” the publisher told IGN in a statement. The PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC versions remain on schedule for an April 16 release in New Zealand.
