Destiny: The Dark Below Preview Trailer Launched

Runtime: 4:31    Author: destinygame    Category: Trailers

Activision have released a new trailer for Destiny's first expansion, The Dark Below, to give players more of an idea of what to expect.

The four and a half minute video previews all of the new content being added in The Dark Below, like new story missions, Crucible maps, Strikes, and a new Raid. Developer commentary also provides some insight into the design process behind the new content.

"We heard loud and clear what players wanted. They wanted more," said project director Jason Jones. "That's what we've tried to do with The Dark Below - bring people more."

The Dark Below launches in New Zealand on December 10. It will be available both standalone, and as part of the Destiny Expansion Pass.

It better be worth the money. It better feel fleshy, not just stripped out content which is what it looks like.

be very cool if this Raid (unlike the VoG) applies "Why" to what we are doing there.... the VoG had some pretty cool story elements, damn shame they werent in the game, even the narrative intro that the Strikes all have would be a nice touch

I know they have said they are trying to apply the Strikes into the story of the DLC, not sure about the Raid. but he's hoping.

Might need to borrow this game again once this extra content is out and see if they're delivering on what should have been there at the start...an immersive story.

Looks good. Should be $15? Still not convinced. Will wait and see.
