A New Hoverbike Lets Destiny Players Get Tricky

Runtime: 1:09    Author: destinygame    Category: Trailers

The first expansion for Destiny, The Dark Below, will let players perform hoverbike tricks, thanks to a new Sparrow being added to the game.

The EV-30 Tumbler Sparrow "features advanced modifications that bypass standard safety systems, disabling the stabilization and gyroscopic-force dampeners designed to keep you grounded," according to Bungie. You can see the hoverbike in action in the trailer above.

Everyone who owns the Destiny Expansion Pass or buys it before January 15 can get the EV-30 Tumbler as of today. Those who purchase The Dark Below on its own between its December 10 release date and January 15 will also get the new ride.

Correction: The Dark Below comes out on December 10 in New Zealand, not December 9 as originally stated.

I still haven't decided whether or not to buy the expansion pass. I guess I'm going to wait until it's out and the reviews are in but the fact that it costs over half of what I paid for the entire game but doesn't seem like it's going to deliver anywhere near half a games worth of content is a problem. A new speeder bike um I mean sparrow doesn't make it a better value proposition.

Everything about this game is just so boring. Disappointed after the 4 Halo games.

But if anyone's interested looks like you can do a trial like MMOs offer now.

Not as good as the Timesplitter I have but its a good pickup for my alt. Its fun to have a play around it it. Just hope they introduce something for it? sparrow races, sprarrow ssx tricky style events....
Did I read somewhere theyARE going to introduce sparrow races? or is the internet trolling me again? :)
