Destiny's Old Loot Cave is Haunted

Runtime: 0:18    Author: Jonty Alphaville    Category: Trailers

Bungie may have shut down Destiny's first "loot cave," but that doesn't mean the developer didn't have some fun with it in the process.

Players have discovered that the site in the game's Cosmodrome region is now "haunted." Inside the cave is a pile of bodies that can be interacted with when the prompt "Disturb the Remains" appears. Doing so triggers a ghost-like voice, which says, "a million deaths are not enough for Master Rahool."

You can listen to the message in the video above, shared on YouTube by a user called Jonty Alphaville.

Prior to being shut down at the end of September, the cave was a popular location for acquiring engrams - items that contain mystery gear, with a chance of high-level equipment. Due to the short respawn time for enemies in the cave, players were able to obtain large numbers of engrams by repeatedly killing the foes inside.

That is pretty funny even though a million would be well and truly short of the numbers killed there i suspect.
