There's been no shortage of coverage and marketing for Destiny in the lead up to its global launch on September 9th, but the footage seen so far has been limited to Earth and the Moon - just two of a handful of locations that will feature in Bungie's new game.
Activision, the title's publisher, has changed that up with the latest trailer, which gives viewers a first look at Mars.
"What little we know of Mars may as well be a myth. We built a massive metropolis in the red dust. No one knows what remains of our lost age, now buried beneath the dunes," reads the video's YouTube description.
The clip itself shows a group of three Guardians walking across the dusty, red Mars landscape, before cutting to a swathe of enemies coming out of hiding. It then proceeds to show footage of gameplay taking place on the planet, both on its surface and in the network of caves below.
