The Sims 4 Set For Release in September

Runtime: 1:56    Author: TheSims    Category: Trailers

Electronic Arts today announced that The Sims 4 is arriving on PC starting September 2 in North America, and shortly after elsewhere.

The Sims 4 features a new generation of smarter Sims with big personalities, giving players the power to play with life and create meaningful, and sometimes weirder, stories.

“On September 5 our fans will be able to experience why we believe The Sims 4 is the best life simulation game ever,” said Rachel Franklin, VP and Executive Producer for The Sims 4.

“These are brand new Sims whose traits, emotions and aspirations combine to define more meaningful personalities than you’ve ever played with before. You decide not only what they look like, but more importantly, who they are. The combination of these new Sims, our powerful new creative tools, and the all-new Gallery add up to the best game we’ve ever made.”

The Sims 4 will also feature new creative tools and the all-new Gallery, which allows players to access other players’ The Sims 4 user generated content directly from the game.

I just want some gameplay. I'm amazed how theyve pushed stereotypes to their absolute maximum. It almost makes me cringe like the over enthusiastic developers do.

and dont misunderstand, I am really looking forward to sims 4. Have stuck with it since sims 1. Loved sims 1 and 2. 3 was good in a lot of ways but didn't have me playing long because the camera style wasn't as flexible as I remember it being in sims 2. Sims 4 looks like they've brought back a lot more customisation and flexibility to the CAS which means there will be way more attractive sims to hook up with. And hopefully there will be great house building options in the base game unlike sims 3 had.

Man this part of the conference was cringe worthy. Narration over the top of trailers/ demos rarely works well.
