New Destiny Trailer Shows Off Co-op Gameplay

Runtime: 6:59    Author: destinygame    Category: Trailers

Bungie has released a new trailer for Destiny, showing off the massively multiplayer online shooter's co-op gameplay in action.

The seven minute-long follows three Guardians as the work their way through the Devil's Lair. The task is an example of a "Strike," a type of cooperative mission that will be among the activities featured in Destiny.

The trailer ends with the words "Fight the fallen, enter the Devil's Lair, and face Sepiks Prime. Play Destiny. E3 2014," suggesting that a playable build of the game will be at this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo in June.

Bungie also revealed pre-order bonus that will be exclusive to EB Games stores. Those who pre-order either in-store or online will get an exclusive Upgraded Sparrow personal transport, which features an improved boost, faster speed, and higher durability than its regular counterpart, as well as a unique red colour.

Destiny is in development for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360, and is due for worldwide release on September 9.

3 player co-op = Next gen!
Yup, it is.
Next gen is simply developers being free to create the games they want to create, without being hindered by hardware limitations. 3 player co-op can be next gen, 300 player co-op can be next gen, singleplayer can be next gen...

Also keep in mind that this is one game mode, one type of quest. And they haven't stated anywhere that it is restricted to three players, that's just the party makeup on display in the video.

Already pre-ordered so I'd get a beta code. The upgraded Sparrow is a nice bonus.

Watch dogs would be my first Choice, but this would be a close second.
