New Destiny Trailer Takes Us To The Moon

Runtime: 2:00    Author: destinygame    Category: Trailers

Activision and Bungie have this morning released a brand new gameplay trailer for Destiny, the multiplayer action role-playing game that's headed to current and next-gen consoles next year.

Set largely on a post-apocalyptic Earth, which has been devastated by an Alien attack, the action also heads to the Moon which, this new clip reveals, has been keeping secrets from the planet's population.

Destiny is currently planned for release around the middle of 2014, for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One. Described as an always-online first person shooter with MMO elements, the game features apparently seamless transition from small-scale to large-scale multiplayer sequences, and includes traditional RPG trappings like leveling, loot, and boss encounters.

Also noticed there's no "NZ" retailer available to pre-order with and get a beta code, which is disappointing, especially since JB and EB Australia are able to provide Beta keys. Suspect, Bungie are significantly limiting the number of beta users they want involved. I asked MA early this morning if they are able to get on the "list", although haven't heard back yet.

EB Games have announced (on their web site) pre orders will gain access to the Beta. I suspect there are limited number of keys, so suggest get in early if you want one.
