Scribblenauts
Published Saturday 5 Dec 2009 7:57pm | Nintendo DS5th Cell have done it again, first Drawn to life and now they have brought out Scribblenauts (easily one of their best game).
Scribblenauts is a puzzle game where you can literally type/write almost anything and it will come to life on the game. In Scribblenauts you will go through a Variety of puzzles, in each puzzle you will be required to get a star which is called a starite. Each puzzle can be solved in many different ways, for instance the puzzle where you have to get a starite out of a tree can be solved by using an axe, flamethrower, chainsaw or even using a lasso to pull the starite out of the tree.
Although the game is quite fun you can easily get bored after a week or 2 of playing as after a while you will end up running out of ideas on how to solve the puzzles at least thats how it was for me. Also the downfall of all of this is that the Scribblenauts dictionary does not have some of the words that I would like to use to solve problems. But there are some stuff that you may get confused about, when you type gun and a gun comes up you will notice that it is the same gun as when you type shrink gun. When I first saw this I thought that it wasn't a Shrink gun which I think everyone else will probably think as well but then I tested it and it actually does shrink things. I think they should have changed the design for some of these things so people will not fall for the same trick as me.
So for those who like a new style of game this is for you but do not be surprised if you get bored after the first week so I would recommend renting/ borrowing the game if you can so you don't waste money buying it.
