For a start, the graphics have been majorly improved and it has a nice look and feel, especially musou and special attacks. There's more character developement and better levelling systems. Its a shame there's no character creation- though with 41 playable characters there's plenty of variety. The horses have ther own level system too and some cool abilities, such as collecting weapons and new horses for you. You can swim and climb up ladders to reach your destination.

The gameplay is fun and suprisingly isnt too repeditive, with lots of characters and stages to unlock each with new units and specials. The muou modes have a well developed story and add interest. I would recommend purchasing this game if you can find it at a reasonably cheap price. I was lucky in finding it for just $40 new at GP though i think thats special may be over now.
