Ok by looking at my profie pic you can see I'm an FF fan which is true to a point. In my view FFVII is the best by a long way and to be honest I keep buying the others i the hope they will be in some small way as good as FFVII. Each time I am disappointed. Don't get me wrong there are bits in each of the others that are good but I always find something in them to groan about. FFVIII the storyline sucked and drawing magic was annoying (until you realised you got it quicker by refining items). FFIX seemed just too cartoon like for me and although all FFs have humour it seemed a bit over done in that one. FFX had blitzball (Yay) but your main character was a whiny little....and I'm not even going to mention FFX2 or FFXI (which they should have made a side series of its own). And finally FFXII an awesome game granted but when i compare the gaming experience to that of FFVII it doesn't come close.

Ever time I play the latest FF game I find myself enjoying the experience and yet I find myself wanted something more I guess. Your opinions may differ and Id be glad to hear them. Maybe I like FFVII so much because it was the first huge RPG i played I mean how could you not love it. Awesome storyline (Aries 'sob'), simple magic system, Chocobo races (yeah) Cool characters the game has basically no flaws.
