The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion

The latest installment in the Elder Scrolls series has blown critics' minds with its immense interactivity, unsurpassed graphical excellence and deep customization never before achieved. Oblivion is the fourth installment in the series and is truly one of the best games to hit the Xbox 360 console.

You begin the adventure in the Imperial City prison, when you are visited by the emperor who "sees fate in you". He reveals a secret door into the Imperial Prison Sewers, where members of a mysterious organisation the "Mythic Dawn" assassinate the emperor. A Blade (bodyguard) named Baurus implores you to take the "Amulet of Kings" to the monk Brother Jauffre in Weynon Priory. You exit the sewers, and your journey begins.

The primary factor that makes Oblivion so great is probably the free plot system. Your character can do anything, anywhere, anytime and the main quest is not the only one. There are other optional quests which are almost innumerous, and guilds to join, eventually rising rank from scum to big shot.

Overall, Oblivion is an experience not to be missed. A true epic!
