I looked up the trailer for the new Medal of Honor recently, and to be honest I was rather surprised of how good it looks.
They seem to have ditched the WW2 era (finally) and moved onto Modern Warfare.

To me the graphics looked more sharper and realistic than MW2, and the gameplay also looks somewhat better, you saw the character contolling an AC130 and driving a ATV.

In the past Medal of Honor have let me down several times in one particullar area, The Multiplayer. The reason for this was because the Multiplayer just felt rushed and arcady, there was no real sence of realism, and the lack of guns made it that much more unsatisfying.

However I am not hating on the past Medal of Honors, although they were all set around the same time frame. They all seemed to have a very enjoyable and engaging campain that challenged you, and didn't seem to short. But for me thats where it ended. Without the campain i beleive the series would have died long ago.

I noticed EA has decided to team up with the Battlefield: Bad Company master minds DICE, which to me sounds like a smart move seeming how Battlefield is the only wargame that people seem to even compare with the beast, Call Of Duty.

So with the story change, new developers and graphics engine, will the classic Medal of Honor be able to make its rise back to the top? Or will it just be crushed, and considered as another try-hard Call of Duty?
