In the first part of a series of design and technology videos focusing on Multiplayer, Rockstar explain how the series-signature Bullet Time move will work when there are other players in the same game world.

The move, if you're not familiar with it, literally slows down time, showing the world in slow motion. It's great for lining up shot after shot into the slow-moving body of your enemy, but surely that will result in the world slowing down randomly for you as a result of other people triggering the move?

There's also footage (and explanations) of Gang Wars - the story-based, evolving multiplayer mode, and Payne Killer - a many-on-few mode that sets up one or two players as super-powerful and then challenges the other players to work as a team to take them down.

Max Payne 3 is headed to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on May 18th.

I really hope that this is as good as I think it should be, I'm waiting longer for GTA V for this so it better be.
