The final conference - can Sony top Microsoft and Nintendo? Let's find out!
6:56 - And we kick things off! A demo reel has just finished playing, and Jack Tretton is now up.
7:00 - "Beside a little spittle from me, there's no need to wear ponchos." Burn, Microsoft!
7:01 - Talking up the PS3 and its big gaming exclusives.
7:02 - Aaand it's Kaz "Ridge Racer" Hirai! Speaking a little bit about 3D, apparently. 3D with glasses, methinks...
7:05 - And now Killzone 3 is about to be demoed in 3D. Got yer glasses, audience?
7:07 - Heh, while the game no doubt looks good in the auditorium, we certainly don't get 3D effects across the interwebs. Still, some interesting-looking aliens being fought here.
7:08 - Well now, there's some very pretty scenery here - snowy landscape with huge waves crashing across a ruined, half-sunken base. And the player has a jetpack-type thing.
7:11 - And now the player is flying around the same base, simply destroying everything with a gattling gun. Damn those graphics are pretty, in a desolate way.
7:12 - Killzone 3: coming February 2011. Will also have Move compatibility at launch.
7:14 - Kaz Hirai is back. Just confirmed Gran Turismo 5 will be in 3D, along with Crysis 2, Mortal Kombat, Shaun White Skateboarding, Ghost Recon, Tron, and NBA 2K11.
Intriguing: he's talking about what 3D + Move is like.
7:19 - Jack is back, talking about the PS2 now. "We're not slowing down" with the PS2, apparently.
7:20 - Onto Move. "The difference comes down to one word: realism." Peter Dille onstage to talk more about Move.
7:22 - Hey hey, a reel showing developers gushing about Move. Nintendo just did this with the 3DS, folks!
7:25 - "The Move has buttons - they allow you to get the most out of your gaming experience. We're not trying to stir the pot here, but..." I think you are!
7:27 - Up next: a game called Sorcery, a third-person action adventure game designed for Move. Live demo time!
7:28 - A very Trine-like narration is happening. The character onscreen has a wand that's mapped to your Move controller. Flick to fire things from your wand - looks pretty satisfying.
7:29 - Heh, tilt back the Move controller to drink back a potion. Nice.
7:32 - Looks like some well-thought-out motion control integration here. Sorcery is coming in 2011.
7:33 - Next up: Andrew Wilson from EA Sports with Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11.
7:34 - "No longer about pre-canned animations - this is 1:1 movement."
7:39 - New Sony game: Heroes on the Move, an amalgamation of well-known Sony characters. Sony has well-known characters? Ratchet, Sly, Clank, Daxter...
7:41 - Talking up a partnership with Coca-Cola that will highlight Move.
7:42 - Hahaha, dude is being upstaged by Kevin Butler. Nice!
7:42 - He's taking potshots at Kinect. "I say it's time to focus on what really matters: the games." I think all three companies have stated that...
7:43 - "Gaming is having a ridiculously huge TV in a tiny one-room apartment. It's staying up til 3AM to get a Trophy that isn't real...but is."
7:45 - "With Move, we can all box, with game characters who have important features...like arms, or necks."
7:46 - That was...funny, kinda pointless.
7:47 - Move launch details: Available Europe September 15th, USA Sep 19th, Japan October. Move controller on its own: US $50. Nunchuck ripoff: $30. Move bundle with PS3, camera, controller, game: $400.
7:48 - I'm still wary of how much all this will cost if you have a few friends: multiple controllers + nunchucks + a PlayStation Eye. Like the Wii, the cost could really add up.
7:53 - Jack Tretton back to talk about the PSP. C'mon, PSP2! Maybe? No?
7:54 - PSP ad playing, taking a shot at the generally poor quality of iPhone games...
7:56 - Onto Invizimals, which uses the PSP camera add-on. And quickly onto the next PSP God of War.
8:02 - And now, the PlayStation Network. 50 million registered users now, apparently.
8:03 - Oh good lord, The Teser: Season 2 is gonna happen.
8:03 - Hey look, Home still exists! Sony has replicated their E3 booth in Home.
8:04 - Onto LittleBigPlanet. Jack's touting the 'Play. Create. Share' mantra. LittleBigPlanet 2 now being shown...
8:06 - As mentioned earlier, this is now a platform for creating different kinds of games. About to focus on competitive scoring modes that can be put into your LBP games.
8:07 - They're showing off a bunch of really simple competitive multiplayer mini-games of different genres.
8:10 - The developers invited the top original LBP community creators to their studio, and gave them 24 hours to come up with anything they liked for the sequel. Quite impressed with the footage they showed of the results.
8:11 - Aaaand here's the PSN subscription package, called PlayStation Plus. By paying money, you get: hundreds of dollars worth of value. Way to be specific, Jack.
Oh right: beta access to upcoming games, discounts on the PS Store, etc. In its launch month, you'll get a free copy of WipeOut HD, and a few other games.
8:15 - EA is up to show how supportive they are of the PlayStation ecosystem.
8:16 - First up: some exclusive Medal of Honor content. A new character?
8:19 - Demoing Medal of Honor, which does indeed look - amazingly - like Modern Warfare. Play the beta June 21!
8:20 - And now, Dead Space 2, up for a live demo!
8:22 - Main character really getting thrown around the place. Oh hey, and there's a giant alien that wants to tear him apart. Is this what all engineers face on a daily basis? Props to them.
8:23 - Certainly looks more nimble, dynamic than before. Intriguing. Liking the whole 'being sucked into space' thing.
8:25 - EA guys is off, Jack Tretton back on. Watcha got for us, Jack? Hey hey, Glados! Valve!!
8:26 - Gabe Newell, formerly known as the man who repeatedly bagged the PS3...
8:27 - So what got you convinced by Sony to develop for their platform, Mr. Newell? Oh, and he's talking about Portal 2, of course.
8:28 - Portal 2 demo! Looks like the Aperture Science lab has seen better days, but Glados will soon fix that.
8:29 - Final Fantasy XIV video is now up. Will they reveal gameplay? I'm gonna go with no.
8:30 - My bad! I think we're seeing some in-game graphics here. Some giant monsters, including what looks like the Balrog from Lord of the Rings. Guess he needs to find work somewhere.
8:31 - Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, Mafia II will both have PS3-exclusive maps for PS3 owners. Brotherhood multiplayer reveal now!
Also: Brotherhood multiplayer beta only on PS3.
8:34 - Demo reel time for upcoming PS3 games!
8:38 - Gran Turismo 5 trailer! Can it FINALLY be coming out soon?
8:40 - Coming November 2nd 2013! No, just kidding, 2010.
8:41 - Infamous 2 is now up. Main character still sounding somewhat emo. Gameplay still looks fun.
8:42 - One last surprise! C'mon, Uncharted 3!!
8:43 - Nope, I think it's Twisted Metal. And...crazy clown people just drove a truck onto the stage. David Jaffe is here!
8:46 - You can now fly, as well as drive! Demo currently happening.
8:47 - Wow, these multiplayer levels look pretty neat.
8:50 - Looks like a crazy game, and good fun multiplayer.
8:51 - Jack back to wrap things up. And that's that? Why yes, yes it is. And now, on with the show proper!

What trailers and demos of the games were great, but the montages were a bit drawn out. Move looked really really good too.
Some good announcements too. I was hoping they'd show some of The Last Guardian, but i guess they'll save that for TGS.
