We've got 300 BETA codes up for grabs!
Thanks to PlayStation NZ we have the NZ exclusive BETA release for the hot new PS3 title Resistance 2™. This online multiplayer trial lasts for two weeks from 3pm CET on the 20/10 till 13/11.
You'll need to be hooked up online of course, and you'll also need a valid PSN account.
About the Game:
Picking up immediately where Resistance: Fall of Man concluded, Resistance 2 follows. Nathan Hale as he finds himself once more in a world transformed by war and invasion. Undaunted by their defeat in London, the Chimera have continued to advance, now poised to attack the United States. Entire cities have been leveled and communities annihilated. In this war where the odds are so heavily stacked against the human race, few are left who are willing and able to fight.
Fortunately, Hale is not alone. A group of super soldiers simply known as the Sentinels will fight alongside Hale as they collectively attempt to thwart the inevitable.
Play up to 60 players online in what is the largest FPS ever!

Hot on the heels of our LittleBigPlanet BETA release, we're going to break this down into three ways to win:
1) We're calling for 10 people to come up with a great way to spread the word about NZGamer.com's Resistance 2 BETA Giveaway on the net. The 10 best people will be given an early BETA code on Monday 20th at 2pm.
So get cracking with some ideas!
2) Come back on Monday 20th, 6pm and the first 100 people to place a comment on the forums in the topic known as 'Resistance 2 BETA Giveaway' will automatically win a BETA code.
3) We'll announce how to win the remaining 190 Resistance 2 BETA codes this Monday at 8pm. Check back then to find out how to go in the draw!

Anyway, awesome stuff. Hopefully a lot of the regulars get in, so we can go on a co-op rampage and kick some Chimera ass right in the face!

I'm not sure of any UK sites, but 7000 beta keys are meant to be available, so i'd expect comps to be run for other regions via your local gaming sites pretty soon, if not already.
