I looked forward to the release of haze ever since I first heard about this game I wanted to play it so when my second 360 broke down for the second time I went out and purchase a ps3 to fill the void.
So I chose the mgs pakage and recived haze as my second game.
At home I hurried to unpack the ps3 and start playing The hype and excitment had the better of me and I thought that with all the media coverage and promoting the game that it was going to be on a par with halo3 but to my surprise like the title says the game became a little hazey to me.
The concept of the game its self is brilliant but the game play was a little rough around the edges the enviroment really was a little basic and thought it was a let down, the vehicles had horrid reaction to the controls and this made me consider if the developers just couldnt be bothered putting in the effort now some of you will say i am being harsh, and you are probably right and why i say this is it cost me alot of money and I expected more for the dollar now I found that on the level where you are heading to the shanty type town I had trouble with the vehicles response to turning and to brake this down the steering was sluggish and not just a little it takes quite a bit to get me upset with vehicle controls in games.
over all the game did also have a lot of good sound game play I do hope that there will be another haze and it gets a little more heart and thought into it .
If this game had improvements made to the grey areas then I would definately say that its worth every cent of its cost Perhaps they could create a patch to fix the control issues. But hey dont be put off by me you may find its up to your expectations I read reviews but go and ussally hire the game before I buy to make my own mind up.
