In just over 24 hours I'll be sitting on a plane to Los Angeles.

Yet, there still seems to be a huge amount of work to do between now and then. Very shortly we'll be launching our E3 hub (in fact, we probably already have by the time you read this, so go check it out!). Those subscribed to our newsletter are in for a nice new-look newsletter coming to them any minute now, and then there's looking at our E3 schedule and deciding whether we're organised enough. Our calendar currently looks very festive. All those coloured blocks representing press conferences, booth tours, and after-hours events (these aren't a problem!).

Myself, Sam Prescott and Angus Deacon form the NZGamer.com contingent. And we've taken solace in the fact that we have 12 hours in the air where we can do nothing but plan our upcoming week. Well, that and sleep.

Each morning for the past month or two, we've each woken up to literally dozens of emails in our inbox for great opportunities to visit exhibitor's booths. Some are displaying games, many are displaying gaming accessories. Even food. Our job has been to take notes of what we want to spend our valuable time to go look at. Hopefully, as you'll see over the next week, we've done a good job.

Personally, I'm hugely excited about playing Rock Band 3 and seeing what surprises the "big three" press conferences hold.
