Guild Wars 2 - Mesmer - Complete Collection

Some gameplay footage of Guild Wars 2's Mesmer in action. Not sure about you, but if I could clone myself and then blow those clones up, I'd probably never leave the house (although, if I needed to, those ground portals seem like a lot more fun than the bus).

The Mesmer, in case you were unaware, is the 8th class to be revealed for the upcoming Guild Wars 2. Hardly new to the franchise (the Mesmer is almost synonymous with Guild Wars), the class has nevertheless been significantly revamped to bring it more in line with the "each class is able to fill any role" design mantra this time around.

"We've updated the Mesmer, moving the profession away from its origins as a support role by creating a formidable magical duelist who can stand on his own," said ArenaNet.

One thing they didn't reveal, however, was exactly (or even roughly) when we'll get to play the game. All we know so far is that it's coming out some time in 2012.
