A new trailer for Telltale's episodic adventure game series, The Walking Dead. Based on Robert Kirkman's comic book series of the same name, it tells a tale of a world which has fallen to the oh-so-popular zombie apocalypse.

In this video, Harrison G. Pink (a game designer on the series) explains the impact that player choice will have on the way each episode (and in turn, the series) will play out. What you decide to do each time you get to choose will have a real impact on what happens next. The consequences of your actions might be immediate, or they might not be felt until later on... and you'll need to decide between morally ambiguous choices under pressure.

Episode One of The Walking Dead is out on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC now, with Episode Two due soon. In total, this "season" of The Walking Dead will contain five separate episodes.

^ Correct

On Telltale’s official forums, from Telltale staffer Mike, who apologised, “Sorry, but due to the OFLC ratings laws in Australia and New Zealand, and the fact that this is a mature game, we do not currently have plans to release the game there on consoles.”

Really hoping it goes the way of BTTF and gets a disc release once all five parts are out.
