AT A GLANCE
| The Good: Exclusive content. | "More, but at a price." |
| The Bad: The minimum specs. | |
| The Ugly: The cost of upgrading. |
Assassin’s Creed was released for the 360 and PS3 last year and NZGamer is of the opinion that it’s pretty ace. Now, Ubisoft looks set to bring the experience to the PC and with it some much needed diversity.
Like the console versions, Assassin’s Creed will cast players as master assasssin Altair, who is required to undertake multiple assassinations in the Holy Land during the Third Crusade. Unlike the console versions, however, Assassin’s Creed for the PC will be a Director’s Cut and feature exclusive content. They say those who laugh last laugh hardest.
However, that may not be true in the case of Assassin’s Creed for the PC. The minimum specifications required to play Assassin’s Creed have been reported to be ridiculously high, meaning that only those with a state-of-the-art gaming rig will be able to appreciate the 12th Century carnage.
Keep it locked to NZGamer for more details about Assassin’s Creed for the PC. In the meantime, you can check out what we think of the console versions here.
